I need to wash walls tomarrow..never did it in my life...and Need some advice how to clean?

Cleaning Commercial walls that have scuff marks I know im using the wrong stuff..I just need something good..and what cleaning agents do I use...because I know bleach isnt the way to go...just some stuff I can buy at a local home depot or lowes

Soap detergent that does not leave a resedue stain. And some steel wool and a sponge or rags to clean.. Always wash up -- washing down will leave streaks...
I love the magic eraser for scuff marks, they work great. Using a sponge mop will help with reaching the high areas, use warm water to break the dirt off the walls.
dont know where you live Jerry but if you can buy liquid sugar soap from your store its amazing for heavy clean up jobs worth a try
Magic Eraser works wonders and if they are commercial walls you can also get some Simple Green and mix it accordingly. Its great for floors, walls, etc. All you need is a rag and a bucket of water mixed with it and a magic eraser for the scuff marks. You can get Simple Green at Lowe's or Home Depot.
Get a product called SUGAR SOAP and brush on with soft broom and then rinse off it's easy as 123. Sugar soap can be purchased at any supermarket or hardware store
Protect your floors with newspapers or towels.Brush cobwebs and dust from the wall with a soft-bristled brush.


Fill a bucket about three-quarters full with warm water.


Add a small amount of ammonia - about as much as it takes to clean a sink full of dishes about1/4th cup- to the bucket. This will be the cleaning bucketPlace a second, empty bucket near the cleaning bucket. (You'll use this when you wring out the cleaning sponge.)


Dip a small portion of the flat face of a sponge into the cleaning bucket until it is damp.


Spread the cleaning solution on the wall with the sponge, beginning at the top and working toward the bottom. Use a ladder to reach the high spots on the wall.


Squeeze - but do not wring out - the sponge over the empty bucket after wetting the entire surface of the wall.


Blot the surface of the wall you've just cleaned to lift any further dirt from its surface.


Repeat this process until you have covered the wall.

If you are washing walls that have scuff marks, cigarette smoke/stains... ETC... It's good to use a product called TSP..OR trisodium phosphate... Available at LOWE's, HOME DEPOT or any hardware store... If the walls are just scuffed/dirty... Then you can use vinegar/water.. Just don't wet the walls down too much.. Get a few microfiber towels.. Walmart or an autoparts store has them very cheap... $4 for a 12 pack.. They clean really well, are easy to wring out and can be re-used.. Wash and DO NOT use dryer sheets/fabric softener...
Magic eraser.. buy lots of them becuase they don't last long.. but works awesome on walls.. especially scuff marks.
Ammonia and water in a bucket. Start from the bottom work up. It will prevent drip marks on the wall.
