Ever notice how the people who have advice about your life,?

and criticize your character defects, giving unsolicited ';advice'; have never really accomplished anything in their own lives? (....while the people who don't have opinions/advice are usually the people who have life accomplishments to be proud of?) Why is this?Ever notice how the people who have advice about your life,?
YES!!! I'm so glad someone else has come to that conclusion as well! That would be why my circle of friends has shrunk, changed, and I am far happier now than ever -- I don't listen to the losers anymore, and it feels oh, so good.

Those who give the 'advice' are trying to hold you down to their level. Those who don't advise and keep quiet are actually saying, 'look at what can be done. You can too if you follow the example I'm setting.'

That is where we get the saying, 'action speaks louder than words.'Ever notice how the people who have advice about your life,?
Thank you, and may all good things come your way! Report Abuse

We criticize those who have faults that we know we suffer from.

It is easier to criticize something we know all about....
Thats not always the case. I've met plenty of people who have acomplished a great deal, but too arrogant to give good advice and would rather only criticize and cut you down to make themselves feel more secure. And I've seen people who haven't gone very far with good advice. And Ive seen the types who fit your example.
that's not true. I have accomplished alot of things in my life, and having raised 3 children, child of a bad divorce, exposed to family by marriage and my own that I have delt with alcoholics, over achievers, drug users, military accomplishments, losing someone to cancer, name something. Don't know everything that is for sure, but with age comes experience, and if I have some sound advise that is where it comes from. Perhaps the questions you have asked have been immature ones like how to get rid of a pimple and not ones with real life questions.
Accomplishments is an interpretive term. Did a mother who raise four fine children not accomplish anything important in her life, as compared to the female executive? Did the man, who donated money for a new hospital accomplish more than the men who actually built it?
Try to weigh the advice in part based on the sucess (in the field your inquiring about) of the person offering the advice. For example, it makes more sense to listen to Donald Trump's business plan than your unemployed brother-in-law's proposal in most cases. Good Luck!
