What advice can you give me regarding my life?

I'm a freshman in college and I'm really shy. Unfortunately, all 3 of my roommates are even shyer than me. I would like to go out on weekends, but my roommates usually don't want to. I have made a few other friends, but most of them don't like to go out. I am particularly bad at talking to girls and can never really think of anything to say. I try to start conversations but they never seem to go anywhere. I'm sick of being a loser. What should I do? What advice can you give me regarding my life?
Hm, I suppose the same could go for a girl is she were in your situation, so. . .i'll give it my best shot. . . .





OK, so, I'm thinking you should round up your roomates and take them out for a movie, or a burger, or something. Those are awesome places for meeting girls, and shy guys can be attractive to some women. You sound really cute to me. xD (haha)





If they really really really refuse to go out, or simply don't want to pay for it, just walk around the campus. get familiar with who's partying, and who's staying in. It's definitely not a good way to meet people, but a good way to waste time. I think you should get closer with thise guys, so that they trust you more to take them places and stuff. Because you're more (a little) confident than then, they might learn something. you never know.

Maybe you should find some girls that are more your type or more easier to talk to? or maybe you should join a club or work somewhere where there are girls and maybe that way you can talk to some or start being able to try to make conversation with them if you work with them
Get involved in clubs and campus activities. Volunteer. Find a cause you believe in and you will meet people with similar interests. There are tons of possibilities at a college. Take advantage of them. Talk to your advisor or RA. Strike up a casual conversation with a girl in one of your classes. Ask her if she enjoys the course. Get to know her. It takes time.
Join a club that does not consist of shy people.
