Life advice???

What is the biggest hurdle that you have had to face in getting where you want to be in life???Life advice???
I'm 51 and I only discovered this two years ago...





One of my teachers in ninth grade, a Black man, had a speech he gave in class every day about how one could pit any Black child academically against any White child... and the White child would win every time. He talked every day about how Black people weren't intelligent enough to get anywhere. I realized that his ideals were deep in my mind... holding me back and making me unsure of myself... even though I was 12 years old in the ninth grade, and teaching a class!





My progress slowly came to a halt after listening to him every day for a year. I dropped out of college, among other things. Please, never listen to anyone who says you ';can't do it';.





DON'T LET IT HAPPEN TO YOU!!!!!Life advice???
I''m a 48yr old divorcee with 3 grown children and I am still not where I wanted to be in life.

I don't think I have ever wanted to be any specific place in life. But I think the biggest hurdle in my life was raising 2 kids alone. It was very hard but looking back--I would not change a thing.
